'An evening of tears, joy...': Netanyahu’s emotional address before release of Israeli hostages

Описание: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a statement on Sunday (October 12) saying the hostages returning is a 'historic event' and called for the citizens of Israel to set aside the various disagreements. Twenty Israeli hostages are still believed to be alive in Gaza, while 26 are presumed dead, and the fate of two is unknown. Hamas has indicated that recovering the bodies of the dead may take longer than releasing those who are alive. Trump is due to arrive in Israel on Monday (October 13) to address the Knesset, the parliament, before travelling to Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt for a world leaders' summit on ending the Gaza war.
