When Claudio first came in Tekken 7 this character gave me hella problems (still does). However my friend picked up Claudio and through numerous beatings I have become somewhat more confident in the matchup. I still get wrecked just not as much. His hopkick and running 2 have destroyed me many times.
So with this match I tried to focus on :
If I eat a hopkick at a random time, slow it down
From distance watch for running 2, using preemptive ducks
While at the wall, watch for the wall splatting strings
Block db3 and punish
Block ss4 and punish
Block hopkick and punish
