We stopped buying vegetables after growing our own food. What we harvested in the month of July

Описание: https://It's amazing how much food you can grow in a small space. All you need to do is apply a few simple techniques like utilizing vertical spaces, intercropping vegetables together, planting in shade using the right plant, companion planting, growing divers vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers.

We built a small farm like space in our urban backyard garden and ever since, we haven't bough vegetables from the store. We use what we harvest, eat what we preserved and whatever is stored in our pantry.

The only thing we buy are fruits that we can't grow and someday, we will get there.

We are gardeners from Toronto on a mission to inspire others to grow their own food—no matter experience or space available. We completely fell in love with growing a garden not only because we get fresh, homegrown food but we also cultivate a deeper connection to where our food comes. Our gardening journey has allowed us to grow on windowsills, a balcony garden, community gardens, to a thriving backyard garden jungle. When our summer season ends, gardening never stops for us. We found a way to keep on growing indoors, using a garage grow tent, hydroponics, laundry room and even a basement grow room. We just love to experiment and to try new things. We hope to show you that anyone can grow their own food, no matter where you are. Year-round gardening is truly possible, even in Canada or around the world!
