These are epic space probes. Both of the voyagers are now outside the solar system, travelling through interstellar space. On the journey, they found many things and took many images. Some of the images where very much astonishing. These spacecrafts helped us to find much many things about the solar system than we knew before them. Voyager 2 was launched by NASA on August 20, 1977. 16 days later, Voyager 1 was launched to the space. Even Voyager 1 was launched later, it gained more speed due to the course and so it overtook voyager 2. Voyager 1 is the very first man made object to leave our solar system. Both of the spacecrafts had exited the solar system. Now they are travelling at a high speed through the interstellar space. These spacecrafts may one day reach another star system or even another galaxy! Sometimes they might even be caught by an advanced alien civilization. Both of the voyager spacecrafts designed to work only for 5 years. But they worked far beyond that. One of the spacecraft is still communicating with NASA. Their primary missions were to study and photograph the planets in the outer solar system. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are those outer planets. Their missions are now completed and now they are heading towards the interstellar space. Voyagers found a very interesting boundary of our Solar System. It is known as the Heliosphere.
