Dr. Smith also examines how movement helps to condition the brain, and how the central nervous system can be trained to help us move lightly, and efficiently, across the lifespan.
Fraser Smith, ND, MATD is the Assistant Dean of Naturopathic Medicine and an Associate Professor at the National University of Health Sciences in Illinois. Dr. Smith graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario. He also earned a master of arts in training and development from Roosevelt University. He is the former Dean of the Naturopathic Program at CCNM. Dr. Smith is also an editorial board member of the Natural Medicine Journal, is vice-president of the Board of the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners (NABNE) and teaches Botanical Medicine and Naturopathic History, Philosophy and Principles at NUHS. Dr. Smith is past-president of the AANMC.
