Happy new year and welcome to my channel, HelloArt8! I am so excited of today's painting! It's a Koi fish painting guys! and I love how the background turned out! It can be a flower field to some people, coral rocks to some others, reflections of the water is possible to someone or the koi is splashing his magic everywhere!
I used a sponge first for the background / bokeh / blurry background. Then a stencil brush for the abstract effect background.
I tried my best to paint this koi fish as simple as possible so that it is easy to follow how to paint a koi fish in this video. So, yes! It's a beginner friendly acrylic painting tutorial video I hope you enjoy watching it!
