A CNC Router You CAN Run Vertically? We Put it to the Test on a 3D Carve!

Описание: This CNC router video explains if and when you can run your CNC router vertically rather than horizontally. In this video, we cover the Longmill MK2 CNC router and how to set it up vertically and mount it on a tilt table from Rockler.

CNC routers with screw drives can be run vertically, but it is not recommended with belt-drive CNC machines. Running your CNC router vertically, and mounting on a tilt frame also is a spacing method to keep the garage clear.

In this video, you will also learn how to recover your x, Y & Z positions after the zero was lost. Especially when carving 3d CNC router projects. The 3D carve in this video can be found in the Vectric Vcarve and Aspire design software. This is the software that is taught on this channel.
