The 50th Annual Covent Garden May Fayre and Puppet Festival held on 11th May 2025 at St Paul's Church Garden, Bedford Street, to celebrate the 363rd anniversary of the first recorded sighting of Mr Punch in England by Samual Pepys in May 1662. It starts with a Grand Procession around Covent Garden led by the Superior Brass Band followed by an afternoon of Punch & Judy, clowns, puppet shows, stalls and maypole dancing.
