Removing Chrome From Emblems- Painting Them Gold

I decided I didn't wanna pay out for the OEM gold badging since it was hard to find for less than $80. So I decided to remove the chrome from my emblems and paint them. I used about 3 gallons of Clorox Germicidal bleach, and it took about a week of soaking them, and swapping the bleach whenever the degassing slowed down too much. Then a quick layer of primer, and some gold. Followed it up with a quick layer of clear coat to keep them protected. I used some 3M Emblem Adhesive to attach them back to the truck.
I really like how this turned out overall. I even repainted the license plate bezel since I had messed up the custom wrap paint with GooGone.
