Acronis Cyber Foundation Diary - Acronis volunteers build a school in Senegal (2018)

Описание: In November 2018, the Acronis Foundation began construction of the first school in the village of Soupa Serere in Senegal with the help of 20 volunteers from Acronis. When finished, 140 children from the village got access to an education and an opportunity to change their lives to better.

The Acronis Foundation supports programs around the world that create, spread and protect knowledge. The foundation’s School Initiative helps provide underserved communities with the educational infrastructure they lack. The Acronis Foundation has pledged to construct 15 school buildings in three years.

Since the non-profit was founded, 6 schools have already been constructed, but there is still a need for school supplies, including stationery, textbooks, uniforms, solar panels, and other relevant equipment.
