This is a tribute to the abandoned Hams Hall Level Crossing in Warwickshire, just north of Coleshill Parkway.
This crossing was originally installed in 1999/2000 when this spur was supposedly being built to serve the Hams Hall trading estate, but was got completed and therefore was never used as the line ends just a few metres away from the crossing.
By the time these were taken on 08/12/2019, this crossing appeared to have been vandalised as the lenses on the wigwags had been smashed in. However, as of 12/04/2022, all of the crossing equipment here has sadly been removed and the track has been fenced off on both sides of the road, so it seems like this line won’t be used anytime soon.
