Pandit Manu Kumar Seen is one of the finest Sitar players to ever grace the world of Indian Classical Music. He is the youngest Sitar Vadaka in the history of Punjab to achieve both the A-Grade (1994) & the Top-Grade (2013) from All India Radio (AIR). He is also a recipient of the prestigious Surmani Award (2006) & in 2019 Pt. Manu Kumar Seen became the First & Only Sitar player in the history of Punjab to receive the Praman Patra State Award from the C.M. of Punjab Captain Amrinder Singh for his contributions to Punjab in the field of Sitar & Indian Classical Music.

A complete musician who not only mastered his own instrument Sitar, but also holds a rare artistic achievement of having developed his own unique Vadan Shaili (i.e. playing style) through a lifetime of learning & practice. For 14 years he learnt Vocal, Tabla & Sitar from his legendary father Sangeetacharya Pandit Lachhman Singh Seen, a celebrated Indian music figure & following that he also learnt from maestro Ust. With an extensive international performing career spanning over 40 years Pandit Manu Kumar Seen has performed in the biggest & most iconic festival's of Bharatiya Shastriya Sangeet in Bharat, Indonesia, U.K., U.S.A., Canada.
