The Arole Oduduwa, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, was ably represented by two of his consorts — Her Majesty, Olori Ashley AFolasade Adeyeye Ogunwusi and Her Majesty, Olori Aderonke Ademiluyi Ogunwusi — at the official launch of a culturally significant book titled "Rituals of Ile-Ife, Nigeria: Narratives and Performances of Archetypes."
The event, which took place at the historic Ile Oodua Palace in Ile-Ife, celebrated the work of author Dr. Morufu B. Omigbule, whose book explores the rich rituals, symbolism, and performative traditions of the ancient Yoruba city of Ile-Ife.
The launch attracted dignitaries, scholars, and cultural enthusiasts from within and outside the Yoruba-speaking world, reinforcing the central role of Ile-Ife as a cradle of Yoruba civilization.
