Описание: This is Solo Ellos: Los Destellos — the 1969 LP from Lima’s genre-blending guitar heroes, released on Odeon del Perú (ELD-1855). On this album, Los Destellos expand their sonic palette: still rooted in cumbia, but reaching into bolero, descarga, soul, and early psychedelic rock. It’s a vibrant document of Peru’s musical evolution at the end of the ’60s.

Led by the great Enrique Delgado, the band combines echo-laced guitar lines with tropical grooves, organ flourishes, and heartfelt melodies. Tracks like “Apolo 11” and “La Muerte del Preso…” show just how wild, cinematic, and inventive this group had become — part street party, part space trip.

If you're a fan of Afrosound, Santana, or early Los Mirlos this is essential listening.
