I was long overdue for a trim because my single strand knots (aka fairy knots) were out of control. My hair was constantly tangled and I HAD to do something about it. I've trimmed my own hair since about 2013 and got professional trims here and there. However, this method of trimming my hair at home as helped get me to waist length natural hair.
