After Loki's capture, Tony can't get him out of his mind. He's got a nagging feeling that they have more than a few things in common and returns to visit the prisoner several times to convince himself otherwise.
Loki tells his tale, piece by piece, while constantly mocking Tony with poisonous words as he prefers to be hated rather than pitied.
The words burn and forces Iron Man's retreat more than once, but finally Tony decides to take on the challenge that is Loki, despite the horrible things he's done. After all, Loki couldn't defeat him with the Glow Stick of Destiny and even the Merchant of Death was given a second chance.
In the end, Loki is brought outside to be returned home in chains and then Iron Man arrives...
