How are woom bikes assembled?

Описание: Children who love to ride their bike are more likely to hop on the saddle and get around more sustainably when they're older. We're convinced of that. And that's why we make our woom bikes using high-quality materials and components. So they can bring joy to generation after generation of children and inspire them to love cycling.

As a responsible company, we aren't content with just producing premium lightweight children's bikes and leaving it there. We also work hard to ensure that our bikes are made in fair and sustainable conditions.

Transparency is such an important part of what we do. And that's because we want our customers to know exactly how we make our bikes. With that in mind, we visited one of our partner factories in the Polish town of Świebodzin in the summer of 2023 and recorded this documentary.

Facts and figures on bike production at woom:

🚲 woom produced over 300,000 children's bikes in 2023. Around 100,000 of them were produced in the Polish town of Świebodzin.

🌍 Our bikes are assembled at four production facilities. The other three are in Cambodia, Bangladesh and Vietnam.

🤝 Our partners have to sign the woom Code of Conduct, which sets out regulations based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labor Organization Conventions.

🔎 95% of the 61 suppliers woom works with have already committed to publishing their processes and sustainability efforts every year via the Sustainabill cloud platform for full transparency.

📗 The woom 2022 Sustainability Report sets out our sustainability strategy, which is centered around ten environmental, social and governance priorities, and goals that have to have been achieved by 2030.
