Alavi Bohras: Sehra Function - Recitation of Qul Aameen 1/5/1446

Описание: When: 1st Jumaadi ul Ulaa 1446, after Maghrib namaaz in Nooraani masjid in the presence of Aqaa Maulaa Saiyedna saheb TUS, the Bayt of "Qul Aameen" was recited by Shahzada Murtazaa Ali Bhaisaheb and Shahzada Mujtabaa Ali Bhaisaheb.  This Majlis marked the beginning of the Taqribaat e Nikaah.


For whom: This majlis comprised of 2 important rusoomaat based ón the principles of Da'wat e Haadiyah.  1. Bay'at e Imaam uz Zamaan AS of the elder son of Ra's ul Hudood saheb, Mehlam Bhaisaheb. 2. Sehra Mubaarak of the youngest son of Mukaasir ud Da'wat Saiyedi saheb, Ziyauddin Bhaisaheb.


History: During the time of 43rd Da'i e Mutlaq Saiyedna Yusuf Nuruddin saheb AQ, the parents of the male child who wished to do Rasm e Sehra along with the Khitaanat, used to do araz in the hazrat of Saiyedna saheb and requested to come to the house along with hudood and recite the special Arabic composition "Qul Aameen".  In this rasm, the child is made to sit in front of Saiyedna saheb in such a way that a Thaal full of Dhaani is placed near the child surrounded by 7 children of the family relatives.  When Hudood uttered the words of "Qul Aameen", all children used to shower Dhaani on the head of that blessed child.  After recitation Saiyedna saheb tied Sehra on his head in the presence of his parents expecting that may Allaah Ta'aala show them the day of the Nikaah-khwaani of that child.
