The Wedding Planner (2001) is a romantic comedy film featuring Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey. Directed by Adam Shankman, written by Pamela Falk and Michael Ellis, the story is about Mary Flore (Lopez) a successful wedding planner who is the queen of romance and flowers. She declines her father's wish to marry her childhood friend and wants to get married to someone else, and concentrate on growing her business. But there's a problem, Mary has broken the golden rule of wedding planning by falling in love with the groom, who also happens to be her savior, Steve Edison (McConaughey).
