Описание: A short documentary about the slave trade from West Africa and developments in West Africa from a 1930s perspective. This includes shots of the Canary Isles and the Port of Lagos. The film contains the values of its time, so will seem very patronising to the peoples and culture of Africa by todays standard. It does however give an interesting insight into times past. It was produced at Highbury Studios London in the late 1930s (I think), by Thelma Svensson and C. Pattinson-Knight.
