Actor Eric Dane, best known for his role as Dr. Mark Sloan (“McSteamy”) on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” has died at the age of 53, Dane’s family confirmed to People on Thursday. Dane announced a diagnosis with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS, last year.
