chased the roar up and down the pacific coast this year. Washington, Idaho, California, and British Columbia! Thank you IR for selling my maps and sponsoring my threads
Grateful for everyone I was able to paddle with. From starting the year on a Grand Canyon of the Colorado trip, to being really really scared on highwater South Yuba, to celebrating SFC on Golden Canyon with the Teepee Boys, to getting Tumwater^2 (Running Tumwater Canyon of the Stehekin and Wenatchee in the same 24 hrs), to hiking 28 brutal km to check out the Grand Canyon of the Elwha, to hanging out in Squamish on the Upper Cheak and Callaghan for the summer, to having the privilege of seeing and beginning to map out the geology of the Grand Canyon of the Stikine once again, and finally coming back home to my girl the Little White Salmon.
I ended the year with two swims on the LW at 4.7 and 4.5+. Grateful for them being so chill... Two swims is way too many on that river so next year we make smarter decisions and paddle better! s/o Zane for dat drone shot
