Rooms: Mr Cotgrove and Miss Hicks Part One (1975)

Описание: Mr Cotgrove (Michael Gwynn) is a recently widowed teacher who lives alone in his Barons Court bedsit. Upon the arrival of a new tenant next door, Miss Hicks (Annette Crosbie) he finds himself drawn to her and attempts to get to know her better. Director Peter Moffatt handles the drama brilliantly and the two actors perform with subtle nuance and intelligence. Moffatt would later go onto to direct twenty episodes of Doctor Who, many of them considered classics from that series, along with episodes of All Creatures Great and Small. This episode is from series one and was originally broadcast on the 28th January, 1975.
Rooms (1974-77) was a two-part weekly drama concerning the various characters who rent rooms in Baron's Court lodging-house, in London and was created by Michael Chapman and John Finch.
