The Signature and Family Safari - During a typical 10 day holiday, guests have the opportunity to go horse riding on holiday across an expanse of 21,000 acres, covering the different areas on the reserve and the conservancy. The Signature Safari is the original Horizon Horseback horse safari. which is based on the historic family estate. We run a herd of over 95 free roaming horses and can cater for all levels of riders from experienced to complete novice. This is the perfect horseback riding holiday for those riders wishing to experience the pleasure of riding with African wildlife in the absence of dangerous game. Wildlife to be seen on the reserve include hippo, giraffe, zebra, plains antelope, leopard, caracal, brown hyena, jackal, crocodile and aardvark. There are also over 300 bird species on the reserve. When we have families with us, we can tailor-make rides suitable for children. We also run fun activities for the children such as Western games. For all levels of horse rider, from beginners to experienced riders.

The African Explorer is one of the most varied African safaris, as it goes to two countries (South Africa and Botswana) in one trip and covers a lot of different topography and terrain, combined with excellent and wide ranging game viewing. The South African bushveld is soft going for the horses, with wonderful sandy tracks to canter along and beautiful blue dams to swim with your horse. In Botswana there is an ancient landscape of rock formations, and open plains dotted with giant Baobab trees and riverine bush. This place feels very wild and will definitely get your adrenaline flowing. Wildlife to be seen on horseback includes elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, plains antelope, giraffe, zebra, hippo and much more. Horse riders must be advanced intermediate to experienced.

The Tuli Safari is an epic mobile safari with awesome game viewing. Running throughout the year, this safari is a seven night, Sunday to Sunday, adventure that covers a distance of over 120 miles. Traversing the Mopane
savannah and stunning river valleys, with accommodation in three unique and beautiful camps, each with distinct design and character.
This journey embraces the true definition of a safari: an expedition to observe animals in their natural habitat. From horseback, the beauty of the African topography, fauna and flora will unfurl, and be complimented by a touch of classic safari luxury: hot showers, mouth-watering food, and memorable camps. As the wildlife in this area is not seasonal, wonderful game viewing experiences are possible throughout the year. Enjoy seeing elephant, plains game, large journeys of giraffe, zebra, wildebeest as well as lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena from horseback.
