Hello Pick fans.. With this video i'd like to start my series of pick review. In each video i will compare different style of picks of every kind at my actual disposal.
With the first video of this series i'm going to let you hear the difference in sound between the black ice jazz pick by Planet Waves.
Material wise they have a smooth and soft feel almost like tortex but smoother. They all sound different: with the 80 mm one you can produce a very scratchy sound while with the 1.50 mm, the tickest one, you can hear a very dull sound perfect for jazz lines.
My personal favourite is the 1.10 version.. the perfect of both world not to bright and not too dull sounding. The black ice gives you also a great grip and they are very cheap so if you have chance give them a try ;)
