The Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Crossing is both a vital link in Vancouver’s transportation network and the site of one of Canada’s worst industrial accidents. Opened in 1960, the bridge replaced an earlier crossing at Second Narrows connecting Vancouver to the North Shore.
