➤➤Listen to the story of my Pilonidal Sinus surgery and by the way, I am uploading this video very late but finally, it's public now. I shot this video in Ramadan (June 2017) in Karachi when I was fasting.
In this video, I have described the reason for my Pilonidal Sinus surgery and also the whole process and post-surgery experience for you and also for me to see after some decades :).
I think this was a small reminder to me from Allah to sit a little less, work a little less, fix the routine, and be healthy again. That's why I now have implemented a lot of good habits like weekly jogging, less sitting, work breaks, and control on the daily diet.
I wish I never get that kinda cyst again before it's a tough process, mainly the post-surgery healing period.
Thank GOD I am good now.. working again on my entrepreneurial journey towards success.
Thanks again for watching!!

//UPDATES:
I have received some questions in the comments and also on social media so here are the answers:
Q: when the stitches got removed?
A: 1 week.
-
Q: When did the drainpipe got removed?
A: After 1 week.
-
Q: When I was able to sit properly after surgery?
A: 1.5 - 2 weeks.
-
Q: When I was fully healed and recovered?
A: 6 weeks.
-
Q: Did I feel any pain at the time of surgery?
A: No, as I was given local anesthesia. I felt nothing.
-
Q: How much does the surgery cost me?
A: One reputed hospital quoted me $700 but I chose medium level and a less reputed branch of the same hospital so it cost me $300-$350 (also includes expenses of recovery).
-
Q: It's been more than a year now, so do you still feel pain?
A: Honestly No, only except when I sit for long working hours, which I always try to minimize.
-
Q: In your opinion and suggestions, what do you think about how to avoid getting a cyst again?
A: See, there are a lot of things. Starting with fitness, you gotta go for a fit lifestyle, rather than sitting the whole day at work or home. You have to be moving all the time. Other than that, I would highly suggest you sit less and sit in a straight posture, shave/trim the buttock area (it shouldn't have any hairs), eat and drink healthy, manage your weight, and always be exercising. I hope you won't get a cyst again. :)
