The plaintiff claims the defendant tried to raise the price for the rescheduled date, so the plaintiff is suing for a refund. The defendant alleges he has every right to raise his rates based off cost-of-living increases, and he denies owing anything. The defendant is countersuing for the balance due on his contract.
