Last year I took off five weeks from work so I could drive way out west, from the mid-Atlantic region, and ski eighteen different ski areas. Lots of driving, cheap motels, fast food, various ski buddies, and overall the best time of my life!
The tenth ski area I hit was Loveland. Never been there before. Apparently, because it was Valentine's Day they had all sorts of festivities around the mountain. I avoided them as best I could, but a few women were flirting with me here and there. It was terrifying!
Anyways, it had gotten a touch above freezing the day before, then froze overnight. So there was some crust on dust in places, especially off Chair Number 9 near the top. Kept trying to grab my skies, and I just had to muscle through it. Still a fun day though!
