I have already played the demo for the fan version for the Amiga, ‘Mutant Monty’ (    • Mutant Monty - Amiga - DEMO   ). Unfortunately, I have to report that the ‘original’ C=64 version is no fun. And the only reason for this is that the character automatically continues running in the direction in which it was last controlled and does not simply ‘stop in the next field’. This is a major stress factor, at least from my point of view today. Back then, this was certainly intended to make the game more challenging, and as a child/teenager, I would certainly have coped with it well, hehe. Graphically, this title is also an absolute eye-catcher, even though it was kept simple. It should also be noted that this title was released back in 1984. Nevertheless, I can give it a clear recommendation for all young and young-at-heart people.

Ich habe ja bereits die Demo zur Fanversion für den Amiga, zu "Mutant Monty" (    • Mutant Monty - Amiga - DEMO   ) gespielt. Leider muss ich berichten, dass die "original" C=64 Version, keinen Spaß macht. Und der einzige Grund hierfür ist, dass die Figur automatisch in die Richtung weiterläuft, in der sie zuletzt gesteuert wird und nicht einfach "im nächten Feld stehen bleibt". Dies ist ein hoher Stressfaktor, zumindestens aus meiner Sicht, heute. Damals war das sicherlich als Erschwerung erdacht und als Kind/Jugendlicher hätte ich das sicherlich gut verkraftet, hehe. Grafisch gesehen ist dieses Titel auch ein absoluter Hingucker, auch wenn es schlicht gehalten wurde. Hierbei muss auch beachtet werden, dass dieser Titel schon 1984 erschienen ist. Trotzdem kann ich für alle Jung- und Junggebliebenen eine klare Empfehlung aussprechen.
