Watch how we use a pry bar to plant onion sets in woven weed fabric. I was having some trouble planting onion sets within our woven weed fabric, and wondered if I could just push the dirt aside and decided to try a pry bar (I call it a Wonder bar, but that's just the brand name we have). This two step method using a pry bar both saves us time and enables us to minimize the size of the hole in the fabric so weeds have less area to grow in.
