Sources suggest that the skull brought forward by Chinnayya is believed to have been sourced from Banglegudda, and even the soil found with the remains shows a possible match with the same location. The investigation further states that Vittal Gowda was involved in transporting the skull from Banglegudda.

Pradeep Kulal, who was reportedly present with Vittal Gowda during the incident, has now been considered an important witness by the SIT. A reconstruction of the case was conducted in his presence as part of the investigation process.

The SIT is preparing to submit its reconstruction report to the High Court, which had earlier directed for a speedy disposal of the case. With this, the investigation has once again intensified, bringing new attention to the Dharmasthala case.
