3 Day Solo Camping & Fishing Adventure in Northern Wisconsin!

For 3 days my dog Lola and I set out on a solo camping adventure in one of Wisconsin’s most beautiful state parks. This trip had it all! Breathtaking scenery, fire-cooked meals, fishing, and plenty of laughs along the way.

🐕 Lola was my co-pilot from start to finish. Riding in the canoe, exploring the campsite, and hanging out by the fire. We camped at a boat-in site in Northeast Wisconsin, surrounded by endless forests, calm water, and sunsets that didn’t even look real. Honestly, half the time I felt like I was camping inside a postcard.

🎣 Fishing was a big part of the trip. From casting topwater baits to reeling in some solid catches, every moment on the water was memorable. Back at camp, I cooked meals over the fire and gave a full tour of the campsite, including the bear box setup which is an awesome addition that the DNR provides.

Exploring the park, relaxing by the fire, and fishing until sunset

😅 Oh, and let’s not forget the crazy dreams I had while sleeping out there. I guess that’s what happens when you combine fresh air, long days on the water, and maybe a slight subconscious fear of being alone out there lol.

Wisconsin is full of amazing outdoor opportunities, and trips like this remind me why I love it here. If you’ve been thinking about heading out camping, fishing, or just exploring more of this state...do it! Get outside, soak in the views, breathe the fresh air, and make some memories. You won’t regret it. 🙌

This video took every piece of me to put together. From planning and prepping for the trip, getting comfortable talking to the camera, managing my energy and thoughts while out there. Then getting home and spending countless hours on the intro, editing the whole video over and over to try and tell a story while keeping it tight and engaging. Plus the hours on coming up with the a short list of titles that are honest yet clickable. And finally the days of creating multiple thumbnails to package this video in the best way I possibly can.

I truly feel this is the best project I've ever made and I am beyond excited to put this out there. I really hope you guys feel like you're a part of this adventure and I can't wait to bring you along on many, many more.
