This video was made over 10 years ago when I was attending Veterinary Technician School online. I had to demonstrate my knowledge of each equine task, and my Zoe girl was the star of the show!!
I explain basic equine handling and grooming, how to assess vital signs for wellness, listen to gut sounds, various sites for injections, proper application of a standing leg wrap, stable bandage (or polo wrap), and tail wrap, as well as discussing biosecurity and clean-up.
Hopefully, this video can be helpful to anyone just starting their journey to horse ownership or for anyone who might need a refresher. If you suspect something is wrong with your horse, please call your local Equine Veterinarian.
