Monkfruit sweetener is the new and hot no-calorie sweetener on the block and I wanted to give it a try. What does it taste like and how does this sugar substitute stack up compared to actual sugar?
I made two batches of the same recipe — except one used regular cane sugar, and the other used monkfruit. The results were crazy!
Sugarfree baking is always a gamble since sugar not only adds sweetness, but also reacts chemically to the other ingredients. You never know how it'll turn out until you try (or watch a YouTube video about it).
