Описание: In a Baltimore city neighborhood, an urban farm has converted the area from a food desert to an urban oasis. Richard Francis, known as Farmer Chippy, opened Plantation Park Heights in 2008 with the goal of adding value to the community and people within that community. It acts as a place of peace for those in the community and even more so as a center of learning for young people, where they can build a healthy attitude towards food early on. Farmer Chippy and his partner Farmer Tiara have created an environment where everyone is welcome.
