Описание: I don't know whether it was James Brown, Hartley Peavey, or Mickey Mouse who designed this amp, but whoever it was, they were at once both a sorcerer and a sorcerer's apprentice. If you leave the box shut and never look inside, you'll swear this is some boutique marvel with secret sauce sprinkled all over it, with a circuit board probably caked in epoxy goo to thwart the would-be cloners, à la Howie Dumble. But no, this was a run of the mill production amp for its time, made as cheaply as possible in a USA factory at a time when production of all things guitar and electronics related either had moved or were moving overseas to Asia. You might even call it one of the last great American amp designs, which also happens to be a simultaneous piece of unmitigated donkey sh-t. This is a heady mix which is advisably drank in measured doses in a studio or other climate controlled environment and not relied upon in any way at a gig, and you'll soon see why. So sit back and enjoy as we repair and demo an early 1990s Peavey Classic 30 guitar amplifier - the WORST 'good' amp I've ever repaired.
