So I had this song up and decided to take it down to fix a few small things, but also to add the original that I made back in October of 2003.

So now you all get to hear not only the new song but the old version from which it is based off of. To be honest I'm actually quite partial to the old one myself (probably due to nostalgia reason), but I'm growing to like the new one quite a bit. I'll leave it up to you all to decide which one you like more. This is probably going to be the only song I'm doing this for. For the few other songs that I did in the past and am redoing/have redone... I may put MP3 links once I get the MP3 hosting thing going for all the music down the road.

The new song goes from 0:00 to 3:27 while the 2003 version goes from 3:28-6:59.

I used to think this song was a remix back in the day but in reality even in this updated version it stays way too close to the source.

I've been doing a lot of pure orchestration work lately so I put a few synths in. A very Mega Man'esq pad that follows the main melody and two that follow the organ. I don't think I could do a Mega Man song without at least one synth in it.

The approach for the sound of this song was based on the boss himself... Shade Man.

Since he's vampire/bat like I figured to create an empty castle/echoy atmosphere in addition to use of the piano and organ.
