Woodturning - Oil Transforms the Look of this Crotch!

Описание: This week’s project is a large platter turned from a Chinese Tallow crotch. I got this wood from a neighbor when they had it cut down from their backyard. Chinese Tallow is considered a nuisance tree in my area so people are often trying to get rid of them.

It’s amazing what beauty wood can hide inside. The wood really pops once I apply some oil to the crotch!
