Texas Dogfighting ring busts leads to 45 arrests

Описание: Authorities in Newton County have uncovered a large-scale dogfighting ring, resulting in the arrest of 45 individuals during "Operation Pit Bull." Sheriff Colton Havard reported that deputies seized 16 dogs, including two that were actively fighting in a makeshift ring. Most of those arrested have bonded out of jail, with charges of dogfighting, a Class A misdemeanor that could lead to up to one year in jail and/or a $4,000 fine if convicted.
