The Dafaqu Bridge (formerly known as the Tuanjie Bridge) is a large-span steel tube concrete arch bridge with a total length of 1,427 meters, a main span of 410 meters, and a bridge width of 33 meters. It spans Zunyi and Renhuai and is one of the key control projects of the Renzun Expressway. After completion, it will become the world's largest bridge of the same type with the largest width.

CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

In 2020, the Tuanjie Bridge, toll station and parking area will be renamed Dafaqu Bridge, Dafaqu toll station and Dafaqu parking area respectively, and a signboard with the words "Dafaqu Scenic Area.

In January 2021, the Dafaqu Bridge successfully passed the expert group’s acceptance and is about to enter the segment hoisting stage.

On January 24, 2022, as the last section of the steel longitudinal beam arrived at the installation location smoothly under the traction of the cable hoisting system, the bridge deck system of the Dafaqu Bridge, a key project of the Renzun Expressway, was successfully connected, taking another big step towards the completion and opening of the bridge to traffic.


On the morning of March 21, 2022, with the last prefabricated bridge panel precisely placed in place, the bridge deck of the Dafaqu Bridge on the Renzun Expressway was successfully connected and the main structure of the bridge was completed, laying a solid foundation for the opening of the Renzun Expressway to traffic.

As of July 2022, the construction of the bridge has entered the final stage.
