As part of celebrating 3000 subscribers, I went on a trip to Shanghai. This has been a city that I have always wanted to film in. The variety of trains over there made me wanted to visit this magnificent city, and I wouldn't hesitate to visit there again.
To mark an epic finale to my Shanghai trip, I decided to try out the high speed sleeper train from Shanghai all the way back to Hong Kong. Despite only stopping at 5 stations in total, with the journey time of just over 11 hours. This service operates Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.
The train used for these services is the CR400AF-AE, which is the first sleeper train in China designed to run at a speed of 350km/h. Despite that, the maximum speed at most sections is only 250 km/h. These trains can also be seen running on the Hong Kong to Beijing sleeper services too.
