Had some metallic card, so compared with my complexion.
Not wearing makeup and this is my natural hair colour (neutral chocolate). My face has a light tan from incidental sunlight.
Was facing a window on an overcast day, so main light source was slightly cool.
Silver is considered to be cool and yellow gold to be warm. The "gold" card was very yellow.
I think my medium to olive complexion suits 9ct and 10ct gold better than silver. I do wear some silver rings though. I also have 1 rose gold ring which I think suits my complexion. Rose gold has copper added, which makes it a warm pink, although some call it cool.
I was typed "deep autumn" decades ago. My hair colour was noted to be "neutral" and to suit both gold and silver but gold was decided as better.
Deep autumn basically means I suit neutral to warm-leaning colours which aren't light.
I wear gold not silver for glasses. Find it better to be not too sparkly or too dominant.
I don't see the gold versus silver test for "undertone" to be hugely useful.
