2. Dial Indicator Method:
• Description: Utilizes dial indicators to measure the relative position of the shafts and identify misalignment.
• Types:
• Face and Rim Method: Measures the face and rim of the coupling to detect angular and parallel misalignment.
• Reverse Dial Indicator Method: Uses two dial indicators positioned at 180 degrees apart on the shafts to measure and correct misalignment.
3. Laser Alignment Method:
• Description: Employs laser beams and sensors to provide precise alignment readings.
• Usage: Preferred for its accuracy, ease of use, and ability to generate detailed reports.
• Types:
• Single-Laser System: Uses one laser emitter and multiple detectors.
• Dual-Laser System: Uses two laser emitters and detectors for higher accuracy.
