https://al-athari.thinkific.com/ As Salaam Aleikum Warahmatulahi Wabarakatuh Akhi. What are the standards though for deciding who is a scholar? If Yasir Qadhi can't be considered a scholar, why Tahir Wyatt?
Also when a student of knowledge refutes others, is that fitnah? Do we just ignore the batil and bid'a?
I was of the understanding that for you to be scholar, there would be a minimum standard and a body that would acknowledge the said individual. Let's say like being a doctor entails nor than just studying medicine. You'd need to meet a set standard to become a consultant for instant.
I was of the understanding that Tahir Wyatt was refuted on his stance in nation of Islam. He never refuted them as such and was their guest in one of their radio station. Unless I'm wrong of course.
