Here’s a simple and delicious beet juice recipe you can make at home:
Ingredients:
1 large beet (raw, peeled, and chopped into small chunks)
2 carrots (washed and cut into chunks)
1 apple (cored and chopped, skin on)
1-inch piece of fresh ginger (peeled, optional for added zing)
1/2 lemon (juiced)
1 cup water (or as needed for blending)
Instructions:
Prepare the ingredients: Wash all the produce thoroughly. Peel the beet and ginger, and cut everything into manageable pieces for your juicer or blender.
Juicing Method:
Feed the beets, carrots, apple, and ginger through your juicer.
Collect the juice in a glass or pitcher, then stir in the lemon juice before serving.
Blending Method (if you don’t have a juicer):
Add the chopped beets, carrots, apple, ginger, and water to a blender.
Blend until smooth, then strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve, cheesecloth, or nut milk bag to remove the pulp.
Stir in the lemon juice.
