1950 - 2022
Not having my Dad around, I knew I had to step up by coming home to help my Mom get the house opened up for the lake season. Getting to step into Dad’s role and do a lot of the heavy lifting was really gratifying and very fulfilling. I could definitely sense my Dad’s spirit and know he was smiling down as I completed a lot of his jobs and he for sure had a lot of good laughs watching me figure things out the hard way with my process on some of these tasks. Spending these 10 days with Mom was filled with a lot of laughs and a lot of tears and will be something I will always remember and be proud of.
