Afghan security forces engaged in a firefight with “unknown attackers” at the Kabul international airport. The shooting marked the dangers of international troops and fleeing Afghans. Reports say that one person has been killed and three are injured in the firing. Kabul’s airport, now one of the only routes out of the country, has seen days of chaos since the Taliban entered the capital on August 15.
