Shorshe Ilish is a Bengali Cuisine made from Hilsa fish cooked in Mustard Gravy. Sometimes Poppy Seeds are also used along with mustard seeds. A very easy to cook recipe, could be prepared in minutes.
INGREDIENTS:
• Hilsa - 6 pieces
• Mustard Seeds - 4 tsp
• Green Chillies - 8—9
• Mustard Oil - 2 tbsp
• Nigella Seeds / Kalonji - ¼th tsp
• Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Water
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
