Omkarnath Thakur Auditorium, Banaras Hindu University (BHU). A torchbearer of the Banaras Gharana, Pt. Rajendra Prasanna is celebrated for his "Gayaki Ang" style, which translates the lyrical beauty of Indian vocals onto wind instruments.

Pt. Rajendra Prasanna is a Grammy Award Certificate honoree and a recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award. Trained by his father Pt. Raghunath Prasanna and uncles Pt. Bholanath Prasanna and Pt. Vishnu Prasanna, he has performed at iconic global venues including the Sydney Opera House and the United Nations Headquarters.
